I am looking for an 05 or 06 H2 Hummer for my wife to drive around for a year or two. I have cash in hand for the right one and she does have color choies in mind. I would like for it to be the lux model also. Her color choices are in this order. Looking to buy right away and have cash here for it so no bank loans etc. If someone has access to GM auctions I would be willing to pay a finder fee from them. I know they are not selling to good and the value has fell thru the bottom both on the used car lots and the auction. Hey for once it is a buyers market for cars.

  1. Blue Slate color
  2. Deep Maroon
  3. White (must have chrome package)

I am in Connecticut but will travel if needed. I am really hoping to find that denim blue color. I have a pending deal on one in LI but for some reason I am not getting a good feeling from the seller so may just bail out on this one. My wifes lease is up on her Navigator and we would like to hold off on a new car for a year or so until the stock market issue is over. Just trying to be money smart.
You can give anyone you may know my number also if that helps and if they do goto the auction and can get a deal on one I will wire a deposit to them right away.

Working for GMAC, I can tell you we have not got as beat up on hummers as with other SUVs.
If you want a cheap lux SUV think 9-7X or SRX.

yeah for a gm the srx is not bad, and the saab wouldn’t bother me so much if it weren’t based on that damn trailblazer chasis, it still boggles my mind how gm can spin eight different models off of one design.

We looked at the SRX and the only issue we really had with getting one of these was you can not out a hitch on it. My wife sometimes pulls our small camper or trailer up to RI for the kids to use at our place here. I know it does not weigh much but would want to be safe with her driving it.

Actually with the market the way it is right now MFs on leases are next to nothing. Some residuals are holding steady and that only benefits the consumer. You could pick up a leftover 08 X5 and get a spectacular deal on a lease right now. It would not have a problem towing a camper, and thats even more baller status than a Navigator or H2 :slight_smile:

I am in the process of a deal on an 06 H2 slate blue with lux package and all the extras for a really good price I think. I will know for sure this Friday if they take my offer on it. It is a bank repo thru chase bank.
I will keep you posted if it falls thru to keep your eyes open for other that may come up.
