I am looking to for a motorcycle carrier that slides in to a hitch. Willing to get one new or used not looking to break the bank on one though.

Yea I was just thinking the same thing. I may swing there tomorrow and weld it up at work this weekend.
yeah it would be wicked easy. Piece of reciever hitch stock, a piece of purling the lenght of the bike wheel base + a little bit more. Weld that to the hitch stock add a few gussets to support it better. Weld a post up to ratchet the bike’s side against the post Add some padding of some sorts to the post) I would even bend up some 1/2" solid rod in a big U and make a nice front tire holder too. Maybe cut out a slot on the one side and make a piece with a big wing nut on the botton of the purling to slide a wheel lock to hold the front tire against the 1/2" U piece to lock it in place.
Simple little project that would really come out sweet.
