where are you located??
never know sony loves to make shit proprietary - they may even use a different style power cord 
if you want to come to my office in s. buffalo I have about a thousand power cords you can take one or a hundred.
go buy one at ratshack there like 3 bucks
if its a standard computer power cable, i have one here in amherst at UB North sitting on my floor you can have.
