WTB: Racing seats, buy pair and split with someone.

I’m wondering if anyone is interested in picking up one racing seat. They are Otto-R off ebay and roughly 325 for a pair. Now I know you’re thinking they are gangster ass ebay seats, but they are pretty decent actually. My buddy has them and they hug you like a motherfucker. However if you’re a big guy, you will hate these seats. They fit my skinny ass perfectly. I don’t give a fuck about having bling blang seats or a pair of them for that matter. I just need a seat to hold my ass in while I auto-x. So, I’m wondering if anyone wants to go in halves with me to get a comfy seat. Here are a few links to some of the seats. Oh, and I don’t want velvet although it is nice. Or leather for that matter. I want strong cloth that’s not slippery.

I will also have one extra seat bracket that will fit an EG that I would sell cheaply too if needed. I also plan on calling the guy to see how much he wants to throw in some harnesses. I may decide to keep the second one or sell it from there pending if no one wants in on this before the order so let me know.

damn, only if you would have said this awhile ago … i actually was looking into getting a pair of those, but opted out. you should look at the other otto seats … they have CF ones that are even better for about the same price. they dont come in red / black though …

all the cf ones seem to be leather. leather = slippery = :tdown:

And like I said, I’ve personally seen and sat in the otto-r’s and they are actually pretty nice.

why would u put one reclinable. ususaly people will run one bucket. recaros and shit are more expensive cuz they are track tested and approved. i wouldnt waste the money on those. just save up and buy one recaro or bride or even sparco bucket. buddy club has nice seats like 700 a pair buckets

Yeah, but I’m maddddd cheap, and just really need a seat for auto-x which is generally low speeds anyway. Sure it’ll weigh 15 pounds more than a recaro or bride, but my skinny ass makes up for it.

If you want to be really cheap make a mold out of expandable foam, wrap in fiber glass, and fin.

Actually it would cost ~ $100, but I can think of some stuff to make it work really good…

That’s honestly a thought, but for safety reasons I dunno how much I trust myself…unless I use my stock seat to mold from and go from there…Hmmmmmm, I may actually consider this. I’m so damn lazy though and there is so much else to do to get my car ready in a month.

tenzo rally are some really good seats i suggested going with them they are amazing i sat in them they fit like a glove for everyone. and looks way better then those.

damnit, this guy only sells em in pairs too. WTF? Fuck it, I went w/the ebay special because I’ve sat in them and I know I like em. Now if I can only sell the other one. Probably not worth the hassel and I’ll end up keeping it.
