WTB - T56

Debating some options and wondered if any of you have a t56 for an LSX for sale…and if so, how much

for what motor?

I need one for an LSx myself. I have a connection to an LT1 box.

But the bellhousing, clutch, inputshaft is different between the two.

He’s looking for one for a LS-juan

well he will have to fight me tooth and nail for the great t56/ls1 bellhousing!

LS is moar money than LT. I paid 2200 and drove 300 miles round trip for the pleasure of purchasing the unicorn trans. Viper T56 is like Liger in comparison. LoL

buy the LS input shaft from DD and find a bell on LS1 tech. swaping the input shafts is easy enough, just have to maintain bearing clearance.

is it the same LS bellhousing between t56 and say 4l60? I have one at the house if so.

thats the thing though… nobody really seperates them unless they blow a box and just swap out the ass end or something.

HUM?!?! Thats a good question. I highly doubt it, but who knows. I also have a 4l80E and a 6L85E we could match up too, if someone has the tremect56 back half to see if they bolt up and bell depths are the same.
