WTB: Test Pipe for stock exhaust

Looking to replace the cat converter on my stock exhaust. Not sure on this one, but a test pipe for a 2" stock exhaust would be different than one for a 3-4" right? Anyways, anyone that has one that will my stock set-up let me know.
Thanks
Leo.

2" test pipe would be 1 and 2 inches smaller than 3 and 4 inch ones. not that im trying to convince you not to, but why? its not going to give you a noticable hp gain and you wont pass emisions. more hassle than its worth imo.

edit: asuming you plan on driving your car on the road.

with my crush bent 2 1/4 catback and magnaflow XL muffler and a punched cat i noticed a decent gain…felt like was on empty on a 3/4 tank…torque stayed up there as well more top end on the highway. Not too much louder either…engine runs smoother without the cat as well starts up insanly quick too.

I was talking in terms of stock exhaust, since i noticed leo’s stock muffler at cayuga. unless hes getting a cat-back, in which case i lose.

here’s the deal, quite simple really: The engine is getting stage 2 cams. To help the flow, I’m doing a minor intake job so it can breath in easier. The KA header is decent stock, and I’m against 3" cat-backs on a stock set-up. So an easy way to help the engine exhale is to remove it’s crazy honey-comb-like cat converter.
I’m not looking for power gains, just to help the engine run better.

Anyways, how 'bout someone post a test pipe FS this time…
