I just got a computer and I think the hard drive is bad. I am looking for a hard drive just to be able to install Windows on and verify that it is my hard drive that is bad. The size of the drive does not matter.
What kind of error message do you get?
It wont boot and I cannot reformat it when I hooked it up via a USB adapter to my laptop. I went through the Windows install and it said it could not delete the partition, it could not format the drive, and that I could not add a partition.
I have a 40GB SATA. I’d sell it for the right price. Lets say $30?
I’m not looking to spend that much on such a little drive.
