somehow i got elected to do my neighbors stereo for the cuda, lol. having trouble finding some decent looking aftermarket speaker panels for the kick-panel area. i saw one pair on ebay but they kinda looked like poo.
round 6.5" speaker slots would be ideal. if anyone knows a place, it would help me out a ton. obviously this is for a 1970 cuda (plymouth E-body)
appreciate the offer. i’d have to see how far he’s willing to go though. and if that were the case, it would have to look like it belongs in the car, and the car is beyond prestine
Custom auto on transit/main used to be able to order the stuff and had catalogs. Thats about it for vintage iron without cutting dashs apart. Every year i say i’m gonna buy one and i’ll probally say again this year and next…
lol… i just dont want to hook something up in that car that’s going to rattle and sound like poop. i’d also hate to fabricate something in that car because it’s all painted, the dash is all together and pristine, etc etc. i am SURE as hell not touching that dash. there is a factory speaker location in the center of the top of the dash. screw that. there are two 6x9" slots in the back. i just need two decent sources up front.
it’s all taken care of. thanks though. he wasn’t all that interested in doing anything like that. I ended up buying (2) 3.5" speakers which i will fit to a plate the shape of the single front oem speaker. 6x9’s in the rear. it will sound pretty good; more than enough for what he’s looking for
