WTT: 89' Gutted S13 Fastback for a winter beater

Well due to insurance reasons I am no longer going to be doing an SR20 swap into the s13 I have, so I want to get rid of it (and the fact it has to be out of the garage ASAP) It is an 89’ Fastback. I have all the parts to go back to stock. I would rather trade it for a winter beater than sell everything seperatly. Here is the info on it.

Engine/Drivetrain: The engine has been removed, it has 213KM on it, Timing chain, headgasket, and waterpump were replaced at 205K. The engine bay is completely painted in flat black rustproof paint, pillars are in good shape. The tranny is in very good shape, shifts very smooth, clutch has lots of life left. (if you wanted to stay KA) All four brake calibers were replaced about a year ago with new calibers, not used. Pads and rotors dont have much left in them, they will probably pass safety though.

Chassis: The chassis is in very good condition, I paid 480$ bucks to have the frame and floor all welded. there is no rust at all now. Frame is very strong, I did this because I was planning on the SR swap.

Body: Body is in relatively good condition. I have cut out with a dremal about 4 small holes on the rockers. You would really need to look for the holes, they are not big and would take no time at all to fix. Drivers side rocker bottom is rusted, can be cut and fixed. everything else on the body is mint, hatch, hood, bumpers etc. also the body is all sanded down as well, after the holes are fixed its pretty much ready for paint.

Interior: I have removed most of the interior besides the dash, I have everything though, besides the carpet. I cut it into like 5 peices when taking it out to fix the floor. I was planning on a custom carpet… owell. anyways I have everything besides that, interior is grey. Inside of car (floors) are all painted flat black with rustproof paint.

Exhaust: Catback was replaced same time the engine was fixed, its got less than 10KM, has an aftermarket muffler.

Little stuff:
Comes with teardrops w/ all season tires, about 70% tread. Panosonic door speakers, Cone filter, ill post more if i can think of it.

I basically want to trade the entire car for a winter beater or something along that line. Let me know what u got, I’ll consider anything.

also can i ask where you got that frame work done?

Frame work was done by a guy from Stevens Automotive, he does welding on the side at his own garage/shop. He is very good, if I can get a camera I can take some pics of the weld job, and car. I dont own a camera though, thus me explaining the car in a lot of detail.

nah no van, no 240 for a beater… and you cant really call stevens auto for the guy cuz he does the work on the side. I can see if he’s looking for some business though. I’m stopping by there tomorrow to check on my car so I’ll talk to him then. Anyways back to my thread. I want this 240 out of my garage, somebody offer me something!

does it run decently? I need something with a good motor that isn’t going to die on me.

changed my mind a bit… I’m going away for a week I’ll be back next saturday… If I dont have anybody wanting to trade for a beater I guess I’m going to have to part it out. I’m going to put together a list I should have it up by tomorrow.
