exploring my options, i’ve put this on a few other boards so why not here!
ok i’ll start with some pics
these are the only 2 i have access to while i’m at work, i will post more once i get home.
Its a 95, has power windows/locks/sunroof/cruise/ac/powersteering etc, also has a working nissan cd player/amp. The previous owner added the SE front lip/spoiler/5 lug/sway bar/gauge cluster, so its pretty much a converted SE now. Black dash/panels with grey seats/headliner. No cracks on the dash, there is a small one on the radio trim tho that is a clean break and not noticeable.
The car has 152k on the clock, i get 28mpg and it doesn’t burn any oil etc, i also did a compression test on it 2 months ago when i was toying with the idea of a ka-t setup and its 180-178-174-175 so the motor is definitly in healthy condition. I beleive this was a 5 speed converted car because i get a CEL for “park / neutral / drive switch” but it hasn’t affected my gas mileage at all so i never really looked more into it. Everything works as it should otherwise, my only other thought was maybe it has an atx ecu in it for some reason?
It was repainted ~6 months ago by previous owner, i’d rate it as an 8 outta 10, its definitly not perfect but it looks great and i’ve gotten alot of compliments on the color. its the blue that came on the 350z with white pearl added in.
Mods are: Hawk HPS pads front/rear, Brembo blanks front/rear (both done 2 months ago), Tein Tie rods (inner and outter), Clutchmasters clutch (street disc, very streetable its not the crazy puck one), NGK plug wires, and the rims. The rims, i have honestly NEVER seen on another car, i got them from someone who imports them a few years ago for my FD, and test fit them onto the s14 one day and thats where they stayed haha The center cap says Apexi, 3 peice (not fake rivets haha) and they are 17x9 rears and 17x8.5 fronts. The rear sat flush with the fenders without spacers, the fronts i have the H&R 15mm spacer w/ extended studs to push them out a bit more. I also have kyb agx’s / tein s-tech springs that aren’t installed but would be included with the car. Or if having them installed would make or break the trade, i’d consider installing them before for you.
General stuff… i had the front windshield replaced since it was pitted, and at the same time had the front and rear moldings replaced as well. The car is originally from atlanta and has NO rust on it, and is spotless underneath as well. The only real issue i’ve had with the car is that i beleive it needs a throwout bearing, there is some noise when the clutch is out that goes away when you press the clutch pedal. Tires have great tread, brakes are new, engine runs great, heat works and the a/c blows cold! I’d eventually have the timing service done, just because of the mileage, but i’m usually pretty anal about stuff like that so some people probably wouldn’t even bother. Thermostat and Knock sensor have also been replaced within the past 3 months. Clean title, no liens etc either so its ready to go when the right deal comes around. Car has been my daily driver for the past 4-5 months without any issue!
What i’m looking for: a clean (little to no rust) sr20det s13, coupe or hatch, no blue or tan interior. powersteering and a/c a huge plus. the lower the mileage the better, but let me know what you have.
