Are you kidding? Chacon and Wang are to perennial pitchers and if Aaron small can give them 80% of the wins he did last year, they will be in good shape. You’ve got:
Johnson (probably will do much better than last year)
Moose (good for 12 - 15 wins)
Chacon (probably 12 - 15 wins)
Wang (solid 10 wins)
Pavano (should do much better than last year)
I don’t know who else you would have them sign that was available… Washburn has no arm anymore, Burnette was too much of a gamble and the rest of the decent pitchers out there were too old.
Besides Schilling, I have yet to see a pitcher come from the NL to do good things in the AL and most of the free agent pitchers were NL’ers…
