I have a pair of Yokohama ES 100’s on the stock 7 spoke rims. I bought these tires less than a month ago and have put probably 400km on them only. The size is 205/60/R15. The tires are practically brand new. They were put on the front.
For those of you who know… these tires grip harder than an inexperienced chick giving a hand job.
I’m taking a huge loss on these. $300 for the tires on the rims. I will not part out the rims and the tires. At this price, i’m already losing money on just the tires itself.
i can vouch that mark literally just bought these a couple of weeks ago and he barely drives on them because his car is always broken. this is a damn steal.
Paul, also keep in mind that you need to pay for install, balance and disposal on top of that $271…
cheapest i could find a few months back was $157/ea installed/balanced and disposed. i called 14 local dealers… (every one listed on yoko’s site haha)
so Paul,
including installation and balance + duties at the border… its cheaper to just buy them local
and even cheaper to buy them from birdhouse since his are literally 95% tread or more and already mounted and balanced. the first 5% of these tires is useless slippery shit anyway ;]
Hey if that $157 includes taxes and installation, then you’re right, it’s about equal. That $271 is shipped (shipping costs per tire go down when you buy 4), taxes and duties included. I get mine installed for $60 cash.
Anyways! Enough talk in this guy’s thread. Now everyone know what they’re getting.
