This should probably be in the want to buy section. But, I’m hoping I am special enough to have it rest here until I get my MUCH needed part.
I have called absolutely everyone. All scrap yards say they no longer have anything older then 10 years. Which is bullshit I know. Whatever. Dealer has no listing. No aftermarket products either.
What I am looking for is the oil filter relocation block that bolts to the drivers fender on the first generation s-series. I need the block that only relocates and does not have a second set of ports for the oil cooler via radiator.
I’ve had literally dozens of s-series and only ever had in my possession two of these bad boys. They look similar to this;
Just imagine the two lines that are still bolted up being the only lines that can bolt up, and picture it on the inside of the fender. This is a picture off a '99.
Please do not tell me to buy aftermarket adapters and plates and blah blah. I do not want that stuff. This is what I need. So if you know anyone that has one…GET AT ME!

They generally were only on the S15’s with the TBI 4.3’s as 4x4.
The vortec’s had the oil coolers. Same block just both sides have ports.
And no, you can not just block off one side due to the fact of the safety valve in case an oil filter fails.
I can call around some scrap yards up here for you dude, I’ll try calling around tomorrow and let you know if I turn up with anything. We’re in the way north, so it’s possible we’ll have it. My buddy’s dad had an older 'sten, I’ll see if he has any parts still…

aftermarket adapters? lol, no, but seriously, try calling some scrap yards in north bay. P&G, maslack, etc. i’m sure they’ll have something for you. they’ve saved my ass a few times.
