This is why Mitsubishi are pieces of shit and so unreliable. My buddies was on 87 when part of his wing fell off :wtf So we go back to get the inside part of the wing and notice that it was vellcrowed on :crackup Way to go Mitsubishi!!keep on cutting corners…

Velcro?! Wait, was he the only owner? Like it was no sick joke from the previous or anything?

its like that so the wing can be taken apart. its a multi piece wing, cant make it out of one piece of cabron fiber, you retard.

post is directed at bobbyt. the idiot.

Ahh, okay I understand now.

Coming from the former owner of the successor to the ever-so-reliable FD3S Mazda RX7.

The only Velcro in any evo from the factory is on the base of the front seat covers, so whoever’s car this was that had that happen was raped from a bad previous owner, not Mitsu itself. I’ve built countless Evo’s here and rarely do they return with reliability issues and most as pushing WAY beyond the OEM power levels. I can’t say the same for most every other vehicle here, including the $100K+ Porsches.

The Evo has an outstanding reliability track record when compared to most everything else. Problem is the shitty owners that build them up, beat the piss out of them, and put them away wet. :nono

They certainly don’t make cars like they used to anymore… :idiots

Mitsubishi should see that as a safety issue more than anything… why the hell would you not replace that under warranty? Absolutely insane.

I agree, mitsu cars now are better than they were 10+ years ago.

who cares, the dealership picked up the tab and I’m sure they will find some way to get mitsu to reimburse them. Shitty thing to break, but it was taken care of.

personally the only mits i’d ever buy is a evo. the rest of them are still trash. i’m sure its not easy to find an unmolested one either.

yea my wing has velcro too!!! i thought it was stock. actually my motor mounts are velcro as well

:headbang

completely agree, but if you to compare their current cars vs the past version… I’d say the newer ones look nicer and the I’m pretty sure the reliability ratings have improved. I’d never buy one though ;D

I’d never buy a used evo/sti. Poor cars get hammered.

your calipers are velcro as well.
