you tube question

ok every video i click on i get this

Hello, you either have JavaScript turned off or an old version of Adobe's Flash Player. [Get the latest Flash player](http://www.macromedia.com/go/getflashplayer/).

now i have the latest flash player but idk wtf java script is or how to turn it on… im so confused

how do i fix this

I got the same problem too but I have JavaScripting on

Here’s how to turn it on

Find the “Internet Options” option in the menubar of your browser (it’s probably located in the Tools menu). Click on the “Security” tab. Make sure the “Internet” globe icon is highlighted. Click on the “Custom Level…” button to bring up the security options for your browser. Search through the menu for the “Active scripting” option. Make sure “Enable” is selected. Click the “OK” button. Close this window and click the “Refresh” button of the page requiring Javascript.

edit: nice to see im not the only internet retard on here lol

nope still isnt working

idk wtf is up maybe its youtube

what browser are you using?

netscape… ive had no problems in the past now as of the other day it isnt working

are you using any 3rd party plugins?

Do you have a third party firewall, ie symantec firewall? If so, turn it off.

i have norton firewall… i turned it off it didnt help

restart.

i’ve had the same issue with some vids in the past couple of months, but as of yesterday: everything.

thought i’d get it on the next reformat, but meh - i’d rather not do that, i’m lazy. tried all of the above, how do you fix this?

try ie7 or firefox

i am on IE7 :frowning:

trying firefox…

EDIT: that doesn’t want to play either

can’t find anything online that seems to work, and i’m def not the only one with the issue

try clearing your cache/cookies?

actually, try Opera browser… it natively supports flash I believe

  1. Try this website http://www.softwarepatch.com/ and then search for flash player
  1. Download and install this file.

This new .msi file will solve you the problem in most cases I should add. See if that works.

yep thats got it!

Thanks so much for your help (Smilie)[/quote]
