Your Dream Car

What was your best 60’???

| 0-60 mph 1.97 seconds (on slick tires )

Right, i thought this was pretty well known car, even a ford guy knows this… :wtf

lol my best 60’ was a 1.9 on street tires mang!

Ferrari F40 is my ultimate dream car

Lamborghini Diablo is second. I already have the headlights though. ;D

Porsche 944 Turbo

i read somwhere a guy with a Q650 did a 0-60 in 2.1…if i can find it again ill post it up. the guy could have been all talk because honesty ive looked and i cant find a fucking thing about 0-60 times on these damn q cars. i know the last time i checked the gt500 kr was 4.4 and the supersnake was 4.2 but that supersnake package was not at the 725hp it was more like 640. steeda is known for their kick ass suspentions though so its possable a q car did it but like i said ill keep looking to see if i can find that page again.

I have a hard time believing that

Yea he needs to know the difference between a 60’ and a 60mph time

I think my dream car could get pretty close to 60 mph in that time… ;D

I’m pretty sure Adam knows the difference between 0-60 and a 60’ time.

Here’s a spec sheet for it. http://www.fast-autos.net/vehicles/Lingenfelter/2001/427_Corvette_Twin-Turbo/

And for 1.9s 0-60 Mustang: http://www.fast-autos.net/vehicles/Ford/1994/SVT_10.0L_Boss_Mustang/

If you guys still think the 1.9/2.0 0-60 time is actually their 60’ time, then the Vette would need about 600whp more or so to get the 8.9 1/4 mile it’s capable of.

Who said anything about trying to keep things realistic? If we were posting dream cars under 100k, then yea, I’d prolly have chose different cars, but they cars would not have entirely been a dream to me.

first line in the first post ;D

I’ve read road tests of the Lingenfelter cars, but I’ve never seen one run lower than 10s in a documented test. Is this because they use street tires?

Are the times in those links documented tests with slicks?

I don’t doubt for a second the car has the HP to make those times, I remember reading about the Lingenfelter C5 TT having to be launched in 1st with a light shift to 3rd to avoid useless wheelspin, and I think the car still ran in the 10s in that mag test (C&D I think, but I could be wrong)

I’m pretty sure the mag test was street tires, and even possibly a different car.

One day I plan on owning

Range Rover Sport HSE

Bentley Continental Coupe

Here’s my dream cars UNDER $100k.

Yeah i am aware of the difference between the two seeing how ive been into the scene and racing for awhile, and if you think an 800+hp vette is cutting a 1.9 60’ on slicks(instea of the 0-60time), well, id say you need to gain some knowledge about drag racing. On a 15" slick it has gone 0-60 in 1.97 seconds. Dont really see how that is so difficult to understand. Fuck my car is probably somewhere on the low 3 sec range, not that hard…

Cossey you have really good taste!
