seriously though, based on sound alone, the K20 is nothing special. I know you’re going to say “ZOMG u guyths r such fucking ricers for choozing a car based on sound :facepalm:facepalm:facepalm:down:down:down:mad::mad::mad:” but most K20’s without a very carefully planned exhaust don’t sound very good.

the k20 just has a distinct sound.
that is ridiculously quick, no question about it, but i hate the sound. great car, i just think it doesn’t sound good.
and i’m not all over the e36’s balls, it doesn’t have very much straight line potential at all, i just think it sounds very good.
and find me a single K20 that can rival this sound and i will retract all previous statements.
only good sounding ford trucks are the 7.3 and 6.0 PSD’s.
The ONLY 4 cylinder that put a smile on my face as far as sound goes is code blues car.
I just have a hard on for the sounds of V8’s…even my turbo V6 sounded like asshole to me.
