JET ENGINES are NOT supercharged. Rotary piston engines, yes, much more common. but JET engines are typically “turbo Fan” engines with multiple compressor stages to produce thrust, or power. thet also have “TurboJet” engines and “TurboProp” which are smaller jet engines with a shaft driven propeller
