Hey all,
I heard about this forum from a guy last thursday night 9/8/2005 at PRP. I decided to come check it out, and might become an active member on this forum.
My passion is working/building/racing Nissan Z cars. I currently have two, one I daily drive, and the other is becoming more and more a drag specific racecar.
For those who frequent PRP, you might have seen me this year with my daily driver car. It is a white 1991 300zx twinturbo, with a few bolt on mods(turbos/intercoolers/injectors)… My best in the car so far is 11.64 @ 119. I think the car has a lot more left in it, as right now I am only running a JWT chip (car runs rich) and still on the stock cams/heads. The turbos are also not my favorite, and I would like to eventually put on a set of GT28RS’s (HKS2530 aka disco potatoes). Overall I am happy with the car, as the ET calculator says 509rwhp (121mph 1/4 @ 3660 lbs) un-tuned. I think the car has about 580whp once it is tuned.
Here is a pic of my white car (notice the license plate) :naughty: When I am at the track I am usually on MT drag radials, or ET streets.
My other Z has had so many different turbo setups I have gotten lost. The car is a part of me, and has a lot of sentimental value. Otherwise I would have probably decided upon building a hardtop car… Instead, the car is getting a RB26 out of a Skyline GTR, a huge single turbo (GT47-80mm), Greddy 4-Row FMIC, and a GM automatic racing transmission. I am hoping to run low 8’s in the spring, and I should be out to all the import events at PRP in 2006.
My racecar(the red convertible) used to have the infamous single turbo setup on the VG30DET(T). In fact, it is quite famous, and if you search google for “Joel Grannas” you will see all kinds of info on it. You can also see the old setup by clicking on my name in the members section of http://www.z32power.com

My site is www.z32power.com and it features some of the highest HP 300zx’s in the USA. There is also plenty of info on my drag car under the project sections, you can get there by clicking the logo in my signature.
