Anyone use them? They list CFM number a lot higher then other, and less amp draw.
3000cfm 16" S blade fans with a 10amp draw, when others are 2100cfm and 17 amps. They are cheaper too… sounds to good to be true?
Iver never looked into whats out there for a universal electric fan, dont wnat to find out theirs something up with there specs?
I don’t have the size of the fans in front me but the 93-95 taurus SHO automatic twin fans are 2700cfm on the HI setting (has a HI-LOW resister built onto the fan wiring) and are very thin. I don’t have any information on current draw. They go for under 50 bucks on the forums all day. It does not really answer your question but If you have a way to measure current draw I have a set wired on my SHO powered camaro if you care to test them.
I don’t have any experience with the company but I do have experience in industrial mixing. The only two variables that would really allow higher CFMs at a lower amp draw are the electric motor efficiency or the blades efficiency.
Edit:
I just talked to their tech rep and they said the 16" 3630 cfm fan uses 12-14 amps and all the others are about 10-12 amps. They accomplished this by using a slightly oversize high quality electric motor coupled with a custom high efficiency blade design. Boom!
