No luck on my one warranty covering iPod or iPhones, yet. Checking with the other company.
What about applecare?
I know with the macbook you have a year for to get applecare… within the year?
Everything comes with one year IIRC. Then, you have within that year to decide if you want to purchase additional coverage.
You can get AppleCare on any Apple product as ling as it is withing the 1 year warranty. But AppleCare only covers manufacturer defects, not accidental damage, etc.
The warranty I am looking into us getting will extend hardware warranty and also give you an accidental warranty.
Apple is the only company that I can think of that doesn’t offer accident protection.
Ya applecare only covered a warranty on something going wrong with it like the battery. Its not worth $70 to me since it doesn’t cover accidental damage.
I wish there was some type of insurance on the phone.
Hopefully soon. And it will be about the same price as AppleCare. But will have accident coverage too.
