I just got a used 80GB Ipod for a 100 bucks and the screen is broken. I am going to get a new screen off ebay for 20 bucks. I don’t know how to take a Ipod apart, can someone help me?

If it is an 80G then it’s like brand new usually if something breaks send it to Apple and they would fix it or send a new one. they usually have a 1 year warranty on them from factory. That’s what I’ve heard. My knowledge on Ipods are minimal though. I own one and use one that is all.

i haven’t taken an ipod apart myself but as others have said…use Google dude…screens are usually just placed on with a ribbon cable and a press down clamp…if you can find how to get it apart it’ll be a cinch…if it requires soldering…send it to ipod

theres tools you can get from ipodresq.com to pull it apart with out fucking up the casing.
