you mean solid mounted to the axle? not really. There is a triangluar plate that U bolts to the axle. the forward arm is mounted to one point low on the plate with a bushing, and the other arm is mounted to a dog bone link which connects to the upper point on the axle plate. Its a cantilever setup, to when the rear arm with the bag moves 2 inches the god bone multiplies it and the axle moves 4+ inches. you have to see it to really understand it. but this pic kind of shows it better:

thanks dude. No cab chopping this year, but doesnt mean it wont happen. the rockers were cut out, 4 inches or so. so the bed and the front fenders got chopped 4 inches also to match the lower body lines. The bed was actually “reverse sectioned” I guess you would call it. the back of the bed, VS the cab was actually an inch narrower. so when you looked down the side,the bed looked like it was too far inside the frame rails. so we added an inch to the back of the bed to flush out the sides with the sides of the cab when you looked down the side of the truck. :thumbup
