WTB, 98+ ford ranger 2wd, salvage or clear... dont care chop and drop.

I am kicking around the idea -> 98 ford ranger body drop and bag project. I want to spend no more than $1,000 for a running truck. Clear title is better than salvage. Rear end collision, blown head gasket, minor mechanical issues… what ever. No front end colision or roll over. Needs to be 2wd.

Keep your eyes peeled.

Does anyone know of good salvage yards around, or have connections. If you find me a good roller, I might just hook you up with a little something.

Might do a s-10, 98+ also, but really dont want another s dime… but cheap is cheap I guess.

PM Johawk. He has one for cheap

But his is older and has the I beam suspension and thats a bitch to drop

BINGO… body dropping these, and laying out the front end is not going to happen with I beams. Most people put a toyota front clip on the ranger frame. 98+ is the first year for controll arms.

Thanks for the heads up however.

My Ranger is a 94… 2wd 3.0 V6 5-speed. It starts and runs but needs work. definitely cheap tho
