you can find a shitload of rangers if you dont care about them being mint… shit you can even find mint ones for the full 2k… ive been looking for a ranger recently too, tons can be had for 1200-1500. I really want an edge, sucks there like the most expensive kind of ranger lol.

The body is probably shot. That bodystyle rots pretty bad like my brother’s '01. They rot underneath and the cab and bed supports disappear.

the 4.6 will run quite a while in the older body trucks. My cousin had over 200k on his '97 with a 4.6 and he beat the shit out of it and didn’t take care of it at all.
