thats the point most of you idiots are missing, these JOE LEGALs of today, ARE GOING TO COLLEGE and still cant get by. like i said in one of my previous posts. alot of our construction guys today alot of plumbers alot of electricians go to shcool. not all college necesarilly but alot do go ahead and get their associates in a program or go to trade school. yeah everyone traces back to an immigrancy backround, but when our ancestors immigrated they made america the wonderful country it is, the immigrants of today are bringing us to their level.

THIS is the heart of the entire problem. Everyone blames JOSE ILLEGAL, when really the problem is GREEDY BLOODSUCKING BUSINESS PERSON. If there were no jobs here, or money to be gotten, Jose Illegal wouldn’t come here. The reason all the politicians support this stuff is that they all run or have direct contact with businesses that benefit from it.

I make more money or the same money as all my friends and I’m a college dropout. It’s all about how much effort you put into your work and post-college education. Some days it’s back breaking, some days it’s mind bending.
alot of times you have to hire minority contractors as some federal/state requirement, we are running into this problem right now. 90% of the workers are some form of immigrants and most get paid under the table and are most likely illegal. If you ever see abatement workers most of the time they’re hispanic :lol
not necessarily, i work with people who are non-union that make double of what the non union workers make.
Thank you. Im one of these Joe legals who went to school to make the 20 something dollars an hour. Illegals and the non union companys that hire them fuck us. Do you realy want a bunch of untrained mexicans fixing your bridges, parking garages, sidewalks and other shit you use on a daily basis? Going to school for 4 years and getting what you call a better carreer is not the best option for everyone. Plus while your laid off looking for a buisness job im working because i have a set of practical skills i can always use. Buildings and houses always need fixing. Even if i got laid off from my Union job i could be working tomorow for many contractors that i know. Im not saying you made a bad choice but dont imply that its a bad idea to work a construction job. Theres alot more training and school to it than you might realize. Sure any kid can get a job laboring for a company if you want to call that construction but to be a trained worker you need to spend years in the feild learning everyday. So fuck ilegals who think they can do our job.
With no health insurance, inuity , pension , savings programs , or job security. That extra money doesnt come close to the amount of money that goes into our benifits. Our base wage is just whats in our envelope every week. About the same amount in our paychecks gets deposited into accounts for the things above that we can tap into and use. Ive looked into working non union. Even though they get paid more i couldnt do that and make enough to pay for all my benifits i have through the union. Plus we do better work lol.

Exactly its great if your not looking for a career in your feild. But if you are the union is usualy the way to go.
