I was just wondering if anybody was going to go to Springfest this year. OLP is headlining, Friday April 21, Doors at 5:30. I haven’t taken advantage of any of the concerts the school has offerred, although I wanted to see Incubus like whoa a while back… So I’m thinking I might head up thurr since OLP is a good show.
meh i’ve seen olp twice, and each time they got worse…not really my kinda music…
saw them at edgefest many years ago when they were still relatively new…and back then, they rocked…
this year i saw them again at edgefest, and they’ve definitely gotten progressively softer over the years, and i’m not liking the new stuff at all…
but i will admit, that one single they had from the newer cd, “where are you,” was very catchy and enjoyable…
I used to be into OLP in college. One year they played a small show on campus and I missed it. I might have to check this one out.
springfest will be OLP show #29 or 30 or something rediculous like that for me…time to go count the ticket stubs…lol

i didnt go to edgefest, but i have heard OLP hasnt played well when theyve played there. i went to the show in geneseo and it was the best $20 i’ve ever spent

yea live is playing too. theyre sweet and so is OLP, so i dont know why you’d think this is the worst line up theyve had in a while
im going. end of story.

Live = AMAZING live performance…very powerful on stage…

Worst line up ever include George Clinton and the P-Funk Allstars. I think Naughty by Nature was there too. That fest should DIAF.
Actually to be fair, I have started listening to some old NBN (Not OPP) and Treach is actually a pretty good lyricist.
I will be there only to see Robert Randolph, very tight stuff! Got to see them a few times last year as they tour with DMB.
I saw OLP when they came here some odd years ago, pretty good live stuff, it is a HUGE shame that the arena SUCKKKKSSSS for concert. I really wish they would hold it outdoors with the arena as a backup for weather
They should have Chimaira, Stemm, Amon Amarth, Children of Bodom and Lamb of God…that would be a killer lineup.
