I will be worshiping Santa though, even though I am a “Jesus follower” (I made my confirmation) I have come to the realization that I disagree with the church more then I agree with it. I will however sit threw mass to please my lady friend. I figure if she can put up with me I can put up with the church. Plus they do teach good morals with is how I’d like to raise a family…
Personally though I think most religions are bullshit and where just created as a means to govern people before there were established governments.

Why even celebrate Christmas if you don’t believe in God or Jesus being born? What’s the point of a tree and lights and presents? seriously…if you don’t believe in God then you shouldn’t be able to celebrate Christmas. I can’t belive how many people have chosen the “Santa Clause” option or say they don’t believe in anything. That’s really sad.
Because some of us would rather celebrate Christmas as a time to be with family, not believe some book written by men to control a population prior to organized government.
I understand where you’re coming from. I’m a Christian myself. I hit the Jesus button in this poll.
But you have to understand that things can have different meaning to different people. To a lot of people, Christmas is just a winter holiday that they celebrate based on family and cultural traditions.
Sure to you and me it holds such sacred meaning that it’s hard to understand that others can celebrate basically the same holiday but without the meaning, but if it doesn’t have the same meaning is it really the same holiday?
But yeah it is sad to me to see how many young people are indifferent to or strongly opposed to organized religion.
