not really, at least you would be making an effort to get yourself out of the situation and get it cleaned up. sitting back and waiting for somebody else to clean up the mess isnt going to get you anywhere. at least make an effort to let someone know your side of the story before they hear it from someone else. if you make an attempt to clear yourself and get this shit settled by someone who can and will, then do it.
i did talk to a cop the other night who said he’d help me out. but i kind of fucked myself over by giving ray the title. i thought he’d take care of it. guess fucking not. and i doubt he’d give me the title back. ha.
so then i dont understand why you dont talk to a cop who will do something. regardless of him having the title or not, the car is still there and if you make the attempt to have it removed before he does you will be better off.
when he gave you the title you should have made a bill of sale copy for yourself, and had him sign it.
