Figuring we be getting closer to winter someone might want this car. I bought it for my wife but she wants a stick again, and the MPGS are not that great (our other car is a diesel). So i found her a Jetta Wagon. So we now have 3 cars one has to go. if this doesn’t sell quick the jetta will be up soon.
The only thing i would consider fora trade would be a sport bike or sport touring bike.
Make: Audi
Model: Allroad
Engine: 2.7 Bi turbo
Transmission:5 speed Automatic with trip-tronic and steering wheel shifters
Drive: AWD Quattro
Suspension: Adjustable Air-ride new struts all the way around could use newer bags(was personally looking at the gen2 Arnott bags).
Interior: Just installed new stock head-unit with Ipod adapter, steering wheel controls, Heated front seats & rear seats & Steering wheel (that I will miss).
Color: Silver over the super common Dark gray 2 tone leather.
Exterior: Dead stock with the normal surface rust near the door blades
Pros:This is the car my wife drove if it needed it, it got it. Brand New timing belt/Water pump/ valve cover gaskets/ spark plugs, runs great, Drives great. (may be getting a new left front wheel bearing i thought i heard it today when i drove it) Has a great set of Michelin Hydro-edge tires. and the display is fully readable kinda mind blowing after all the B5’s Ive owned with useless pixalated displays lol
Also it has 35% tint in the rear windows and 50% front, have NEVER been hassled about it (its a wagon they really don’t care)
Cons: 215k miles well cared for doesn’t bother me any but that is why the price is so low. at this moment the CEL is on but I think it is/was for the misfire it had before it got new plugs. the light WILL be off before its sold. got a fresh inspection 2 months ago so your good for 10 months. and the above mentioned rust above the door blades, I got a quote to fix it and i may, but just stating everything.

Hey how’s the suspension ride?Struts mainly. Any rust on the underside? All gauges work in the cluster? Hoping to sell my car soon and this is kinda what i need
struts where replaced about 30k ago there solid. The bags are fine but the left rear if left on level one will deflate overnight, but holds fine on 2 or above?? one of the reasons i was looking at doing the bags. the cluster is the best Ive ever seen…lol everything works like it should.
I have an offer to trade for a manual V70 Im seriously considering we may be trading cars for a day. but as always cash is king
Ya i got your pms the car is up with me in canada, got inspected on the way up so i can promise theres no drugs in the car but the wife will be cleaning it up when we get back so it should be show ready again after mid week. just 4 hour road trip each way. crazy thing is I brought up a hood for my brother-inlaw (cf jetta hood) thought I was going to have to strap it to the roof. it acually fit flat on the floor inside. and the car drove soooo smooth all the way im going to hate myself for selling it but 3 cars is just tooo many.
ok cool just contact me when its ready for show. how are the turbos? also the air ride bag. if it does deflate does it refiill back up or is there somekind of mechanical attention it would need? did you ever fix the wheel bearing? iv heard these cars are either really great or really bad reliablitly wise. have you had any eletrical problems with it?
no electrical problems, as i can tell almost all all-roads loose air out of the bags when they sit for long periods, just something i was using to justify the gen2 Arnot bags (think stiffer suspension) i have a book of recites from suspension. I’m guessing as this is a2 owner car it hasn’t been to full of problems. as far as i know the turbos are orginal. there was no recite for them, but only the last owner kept recites from 140-to current so they may heve been done before. but there is no issue with them at all currently. i didnt hear the bearing on the trip back and forth to canada but ill throw it on the lift at work and give it a shake down. also the CEL is out and was out the entire trip.
im not going to lie your getting a TON of car for the money. but more features also mean more things to break. but all things said and done I will most likely own another. but right now money isnt the greatast and the MPG really count for me. I have had a ton of interest on CL but have been slacking on returning calls as i wanted to really clean it up. I gave it a quick clean today so my goal is to have it gone this weekend.
now on to NEW pics:
I also ordered a brand new set of HID headlights, and will include with free install when they arrive.
16-21mpg im sure it could get better i deffinitly have a heavy right foot. when only my wifes drives it it can get a bit closer to 25. but comparing that to my 45mpg of my jetta that just plain sucks, especially as this car requires 93 (well 91 but i always ran 93)
Im sure if i could just think of it as an SUV (thats what EPA even rates it as) it really isnt bad.
(in the first new picture I purposely left it on the average for that tank, also i reset the trip every fill up)
Look at the pic from the rear right you can see it above the blade. on the passanger door also along the top of the windshield. I got a quote for 300 to get it fixed but couldn’t make an apt till next week so if i still have it next week it will be fixed.
