02' 2wd lifted silverado

I haven’t done much posting as of late since the Sierra was sold, I parted out all of the LS1 stuff from the Silverado and it has sat for almost a year. Started getting back in to it now and figured I would give you guys some updates. Decided it was time to go away from the pavement hehe. Specs are as follows…

Swapped in a 5.3
TR224
SST3200
custom 1st Try LTs
7" Pro Comp xmember drop kit

Alot has been done since these pics so most of the truck is back together now, hopefully gonna be starting her up soon  I will try to get some more pics.

nice

dumass

lowerd 2wd>*

ya but I hated working on it when it was lowered :tounge:

any plans to make it 4wd?

That was actually what I bought that frame for infront of it in one of the pictures. I never got around to it though because I didn’t feel like doing all the work lol… maybe someday. I didn’t really have a problem with lifting it mainly because I haven’t had a 4wd vehicle with working 4wd in about 5 yrs and it won’t really see any offroad.

SAS would be awesome, probably cost me about $7k-$8k done right though :frowning:

ehhh…its 2wd it should be goin down…but it looks good bill !

Lifted 2wd! It’s rare for sure!

looks good bill.

yeah for a reason

prerunner trucks are awesome. Assuming that the look your going for?

why? if I didn’t say it was 2wd in the thread title you probably never even would have known… just because you see a lifted truck doesn’t mean its safe to assume its 4wd, its alot more common than you think… or they wouldn’t make 2wd lift kits imo

No, mine won’t really see anything but pavement lol

are the front wheels on backwards? glad to see you doing something with the truck.

lifted 2wd is for the looks since most lifted trucks now adays arent in the woods anyways, so why drag around the extra weight

to clear the brakes

Ya the front wheels are on backwards… they were sitting on the UCAs because stockers have so much BS.
Precisely, if I wanted something to beat the piss out of in the woods I would take the white truck out sitting behind it lol. Its all for looks, I just wanted to be able to clear an 18x10 with 4.5" BS and a fullsize 33x12.5

still have to put the brakes on yet :frowning: I do have a set off SSBCs for all 4 corners though along with some Russell steel braided lines

18x10s with 33s

Drop in a 6.0L make it a tow pig
Make some $$$$$$$ hauling others junk

Reversed wheels. was just thinking no brakes on it.

6.0 is probably in the future… I was thinking about trying to find a full HD driveline this summer… 6.0, 4L80E and a 6 lug 14 bolt

What’s your goal for the truck bill.
I’d get it road worthy make some extra cash with it. then go from their.

well like you said, for right now I just want it on the road. as far as hauling shit I am not sure how far I can actually take that… even if I did put a 3/4 ton driveline in, the truck would still be rated as a 1/2 unfortunately. I know we have a ton of shit though I could be scrapping on the weekends for some extra $, so we’ll see. The 5.3 will have to do for now as I have no bling and will be on unemployment starting next week lol

Lucky guess on my end. Make some $ scrapping, then make more with the truck road worthy.

Nice truck. Endless possibilities with brians hook ups

Iron city in your hood pays well too

Who lifts a 2wd, Honestly? where’s the 30 x 14’s with 35 mud terrains! lol
