this is a dumb little question my friend wants to know cuz hes not a car wiz by n e means but he wants to know why is his gas pedal sticking and not wanting to be pushed down and how to fix this

Yeah probably just carbon buildup in his throttle body.
I had this on my 03 while it was in warranty and they replaced the throttlebody. I think there is something that vents nearby and can muck things up. I remember trying to clean the inner bore with no effects. You could try cleaning the throttle plate as mentioned above.
make sure that the little “set-screw” isnt set too shallow, that happened on mine after i bought it and it would make the throttle plate actually jam if i let off the throttle too fast. clean it out, check the set screw…and report back lol
Use some seafoam on that sucker.
Also some of the ford throttle body cleaner…
