I thank you for taking the time to read , comment and express your opinions. I have nothing to hide as this car is solid all around. If you are doubting any part of the build or parts then you in fact are doubting the actual work and ethics of all the talented people who built this machine. The reputation of Innovative is known by all on the board and well beyond and should be respected.
If you do not feel as if you have something worth while to contribute; then I kindly ask you to not contribute as there is no point in expressing those opinions. This is indeed an open forum, but however, it is my for sale thread and not a blog. Please respect that…

I like how everyone is flabbergasted at the fact that the shop bill is $20k.
I’m seeing at least $5000 of that being into the motor for just parts and machine work. Labor not included.
Then you have the turbo kit.
Then there is everything else.
Then you have the labor to install it all, and then tune the car. $20k is reasonable. Innovative isn’t in the business to do things for free, I know I wouldn’t. Overhead, insurance, time and skills that took years to hone should have equivalent pay.
GLWS. I think what you are asking is a bit high, I know the shop bill probably put a dent in your wallet but unfortunately no one will see it that way. (Shitty market we operate in…)

Careful, anyone who bashes the all mighty Innovative tuning :roll: will get their post deleted.
Anyone who’d done a proper build knows that it’s not cheap. That goes for boosted LS motors, Evo’s (include transfer case, intake mani ect…) and just about every other platform. This car was clearly done right.
This beats what most people would do, which is pick up an STi for $15k, then end up spending another 12K on upgrades as a DIY.

I did not see earlier that the size of the injectors were only 850s so I no longer ask why the hp was so “low” for a 6266 turbo
Good eye, they are pretty much the only thing holding the power back. It has far more potential if the injectors were larger. While being built we went with the 850 as that is what was in the older build and I figured they would be ok for the time being as I would need a while to become familiar with this much of a jump in power.

I’d say that most people posting negative things about the shop bill in this thread probably have never built a car, and if they have it must have been hacked as fuck.
Probably a stupid suggestion, but if you put the wing back on you may have more hits. People that buy these cars like having the wing there.

I often wonder that myself … But swapping for an sti wing for a wingless truck can be done as easy as pie …im considering doing that because the wing may help … But it is very hard to find an oem wingless WRB trunk that has not been bondo’d… Things to consider as the car is being detailed for its photog shoot as these pics do no justice

did you ever have the photo shoot done? or more regular pictures not with a camera phone/instagram ? i understand people should come and check the car out in person but there should be better pictures otherwise it just looks like a regular crappy craigslist ad. I mean there isn’t even an engine bay shot
