NY 2004 WRX STi 98k miles,built/loaded,2 sets of wheels 25k OBO

Updated Information
Update: Price drop $19,900 obo
Price drop $19,000

EDIT POST: ONLY SET OF WHEELS THAT WILL BE SOLD WITH THE CAR IS THE 17" SPARCO’S.

IF THE ASKING PRICE IS MET THE ROTA’S WILL BE INCLUDED IN THE SALE. THAT IS ALL.

So up for sale is my 2004 WRX, fully swapped, brand new built motor with ONLY 530 break in miles! I have paperwork/receipts of the new work done, as well as all the previous mods to the car.

MY ORIGINAL ASKING PRICE:19,900all I can say is no, I can accept nor refuse ANY offer. So you never know, just because my asking price is higher than you prefer, just give me an offer. You might convince me.

Now taking into consider, I bought the car last year with 94,xxx miles and only put 4k on the last motor the whole year, and it was a piece of **** to be honest, and spun a bearing, so the shortblock was thrown away, I didn’t want to reuse it. I did not want to cut corners and spent 7k alone on the motor build. Performance Auto Solutions, Deer Park, NY did the build. I just drove to NYC and picked it up, she is home now sitting and relaxing, and I will need to find someone to appreciate the value of the car with its current mods.

There might be some mods I forgot but I will update as I figure them out. I will be posting new pictures of the car as it sits now, but I have some old ones from this past fall that will do fine till I get home and give her a full detail.

The Good:
The car is in Excellent shape!
Interior 9/10
Exterior 8.5/10
New block with 530 break in miles, 2 sets of wheels, and almost 20k in other mods.
My loss is your gain!
Motivated to sell, price is negotiable
Both o2 sensors are good
Oil Pressure is hooked up

The Bad:
Has its notorious rock chips in the front bumper and hood, its very minimal and I should be able to buff it out most of it myself when I detail.
Headlights need a buff, their still great though.
Small tiny dings here and there and you don’t notice them unless you stare at the car for hours like I do.
Oil Temp needs to be hooked up.

Dont you think you would want oil pressure gauges to be working? Especially during a break in period?

Car looks great but if I was asking 25k for anything, I would complete the $300 work of “bad” items

I totally agree, a working Oil pressure gauge would help, for the lazy person. I check my oil every time before I start the car. Then I let it idle till warm up, let it sit for a few minutes, then check oil again. IMO its not that affecting towards my asking price.

I could do it for the buyer if its something they desire, if thats what your asking.

thanks for the free bump, and good questions

nice car, hopefully you can get close to your asking price

thanks man! appreciate it! Bump…!

damn that is nice looking love those wheels on there. GLWS

Why thank you! I love the Rota wheels, I dont want to get rid of them, but if I get my asking price they will go with the car.

are people starting to sell these things, i think there was a super nice one with tons of mods on here like a month ago

I just need money because I want to get an 08 hatch STi. LOL

Love the wheels. Car looks clean glws

thank you sir! If the rain stops today I can get some new pictures up. I want to full detail her again. I’m very picky with how my cars look.

Free bump and awesome looking car, but I have to say it… 04 sti > 08 sti

You go through your idling and rechecking the oil every time you drive it? Lol. Seems like a pain in the A scootin to the store for a rack of eggs.

Really nice car btw, 04 body rules. Glws. Maybe it will sell faster than my pile.

I can’t be the only one wondering why u had something far better than a stock? 08 built and the only miles you put on it were from the drive back from NYC.

glws

Checking your oil is the exact same as monitoring your oil pressure.

Nice car.

But I can’t believe someone would pay $20k for a stock 04 STi with 100k, so old at this point, plus they were only $30k new. I watch Nasioc though and people pay for these things. Although I’ve found built cars usually don’t sell for more than stock ones. To me, they make great daily drivers but cost a fortune just to get to 500whp, which isn’t even that fast.

I agree with you on price perspective, however, 500 ponies in an awd is no joke. Sure, there’s faster cars, but 500…I wouldn’t mind having that under my hood

Im with everyone else, those wheels are tits.

HOW DOES IT RUN ??

thanks!

Yep, if you had 500 miles on a new motor wouldnt you check it every time you started it? lol

Yep I got her home and she is sitting now. Thanks bud

Subaru’s hold their value, and is actually going up for some models, the 06-07 sti’s are increasing in value every year, and every year it will be harder to find a low mileage 06-07 sti.

Also if you take into consideration, a stock 04 sti with 100k is about 19-20k, plus the brand new motor build (7k), plus 2 sets of wheels (~5k), and the thousands in mods already into the car. for 25k your getting about 45k in assets total, for almost half price.

ummm trust me ive owned 2 scoobs so far, the previous build before this motor was 466whp 401wtq @ 22 psi and it HAULED ASS. I smoked a c6 vette by 2 bus lengths…lol AWD with that much power is redic.

ohh its funn

thanks bro i love them.

She runs GOOD ;)) haha

bump to the top…
