Well cars done… Heres a vid of the final pull and the graph. Enjoy!

You’re also currently the only Suby on the boards bragging about SAE CORRECTED #'s which do NOT apply to FI cars (they’re for fanboi’s that don’t know any better…oops). Goto the track, then start bragging :banana

C’mon now, he’s got a slipping clutch and a stock exhaust…duh!

nice! that torque is sweet! at what psi did you make those #'s?

26-27ish

nice, goin to the track on wed? if so, i look forward to seein it! did you dyno it when it was running off the w/g spring? i assume you changed out the spring aswell since its not fluttering.

we were going to dyno it again and see what it was at while it was fluttering but ended up just changing the spring and forgeting . i plan on being at the track wed should b interesting… still tryn to figure out launching on the new gearset… I have a prob w/ blowing my ic pipeing off the couplers right now that i gotta fix b4 wed but i should b there.

get some t-bolt clamps… if your already not running em that is.

planning on it, need a new coupler 2.

Looks good man! I’ve been so out of the loop I didn’t even know you finally went all in on the power mods.

And Christ Almighty…I’ve heard Travis talk about my numbers so much I had to go dig out my Moon dyno sheet from last year.
I was running water inj. and 24psi on a street tuned Domtune and I was 364hp/372tq. What surprises me the most is that my peak torque was at 4200 maybe a hair sooner that yours. I guess that’s not bad for me since the green is a little bigger…(49lb/min to 39 lb/min)

that was your pearl one fluttering wednesday night? if so,car looks good.

yes.

Yah that was it fuckn wg was bein a bitch

nice numbers man. i saw you running at LVD… +1 on bring able to actually drive well.

uncorrected i put down 346hp/344tq @ 21.8psi on straight pump. yes, i have a much larger turbo than you guys, but you have more done with tgv deletes, water/alky injection, torco, hard inlet pipes that dont collapse :headbang, etc. you can argue that i have a built block, but that DOES NOT ADD HP! its only there to be bulletproof (in theory) and to withstand the daily grind of ~116whp and ~109wtq more than stock. let me put tgv deletes, meth/alky/torco/c16 in my car then retune and we can all gawk at those numbers too. i dont know if im being PWNED in tq per-se by the 18g… 16ft lbs of tq is hardly pwnage… however the 61 ft lbs of justins car id say is getting the job done… my graph is just shifted out to the right much farther than any of yours. i make peak tq @ ~5k and peak HP @ ~ 5750… your graphs are generally on the decline rapidly by then. im going out of town for work this week and will be back to give it a “fuck-it-all” try at lvd next sat to see whats shes got as she sits. then comes clutch, catback, tgv’s, hard inlet, water/alky/meth kit, cam2 and a retune and we call it a day.

Blah blah blah :stfu
Bolts ons vs built motor hmmmm Pretty sure thats whats holding me back from making ur kinda power…

once again, please enlighten me as to how a built block makes more power? it does not. im running an UBER SAFE conservative tune on 93 octane. stock heads, stock cams… im befuddled as to the logic behind this? let me put 1/2 the bolt ons u have on my car (fmic, tgv’s, alky, hard inlet) and watch my numbers SKYROCKET… you are probably running somewhere around 100 octane or so with the alky and justin is 104oct plus water to keep things cool… im not far behind you.

if we weren’t concerned with the stock piston rings cracking the tune would’ve gone a bit more aggresive. The WRX heads are killing the potential as well. I plan on swapping out to STOCK sti heads and doing pistons and rods next season.

Travis where in a post before this of your was anyone saying your built motor helped to make more power? Justin was calling you out as you like to use your corrected numbers for power claims over uncorrected, and in the world of forced induction corrected numbers me jack squat. Jon was simply saying that if he had a built motor he’d be making numbers similar if not over your current run. Calm down. Can’t you bitch about something logical for a change :confused

Jon, you might wat to consider getting a different turbo-to-charge pipe coupler in the near future as well, to replace that shitty piece on the car now. Fixing the TB coupler is going to put the stress on the next weakest link and I’d put money on the 90 degree piece off that 18g. Also don’t pop this motor too soon Jon, I’m booked out a quite bit before I’d get to build you a beast. Hate to see the car side-lined for the summer.
