i completely agree that rockford usually sucks, my parents had rockford in there 06 sentras and you didint even know the system was an upgraded one… But they REALLY stepped up for this one. And guys dont get me wrong if i was really going to buy a car right now it wouldnt be the accord/eclipse or altima. I just had one “laying around” 
I was impressed with these cars too, they aren’t amazing by any means but for a sexy DD with a little power and geared for mpg with a nice system in them they are well worth the money. One of my friends let me drive his and I had to throw it in 6th just to say I’ve been in 6th gear 
I went car shopping with my GF, at the time, and she looked at an 06/07 Eclipse. I did listen to the Rockford System and I was impressed compared to the GM Delco and Monsoon systems I was used to hearing at the dealers that day. They had a newer Convertible (I don’t think they had Spyder’s at the time, so I think it was just the GT) that looked really nice. It was too much $$$. I think that this body style is an upgrade from the last gen.
Looking at the specs is that SAE HP at NA??? 263? GTFO…really? Maybe I haven’t been looking at spec sheets for the last 5 years closely but when did V6s start making +250HP all day long from the factory?
