Let’s hear some more info on these cars! What track? 1.71 on Nittos…what size? I run the 245/45/17 nitto drags and couldn’t get these things to hook at all in the couple trips I made to the track this year, think my best was something like a 1.95 60’.

Jay’s best n/a 302 et. of the day was 8.0X@84.XX At lancaster Speedway
His 00 stang has the nitto’s that ran 7.XX@88.XX

My 85 mustangGT has e/t streets with stock suspension and 273 gears.

the silver car goes 7.8’s @ 90, its overweight DD on stock 17" wheels, its gone 1.69’s on 275/40/17’s on small shot, n/a it only goes 8.50’s/8.49 best 1.80 60’ every pass. lots of seat time to figure that thing out
the 5.0 is much more race oriented, gets it done w/stock shortblock w/fomoco iron heads, it was actually its maiden voyage from being rebuilt again(used stock shortblock). I think on the spray it will go at LEAST 7.40’s w/some seat time
seat time is probably the best mod you can make, along w/few key suspension pieces(not many)
Lol choda…the 1/8th mile isn’t 1320… if i pull you from a roll and were side by side in the 1/8 don’t you think i’ll win??? Anyways that was my first run right off the thruway…and my car was at 210*…very hot but i didn’t care:)
