thats an OG boost factory snake manifold. i’d venture and get a pag parts turbo setup.

well do you think its any good? this is a budget build and id assume that it would be better then something like this

ok look here’s the deal. i pieced my BT kit aswell. worst mistake i did. take it fwiw, but i had just about as much money in my turbo setup (used) as mk430r had in his brand new pag parts turbo setup.

you can get a brand new 50, 60, 60-1 turbo kid from arnold at PPT for 2150. EVERYTHING. minus intercooler setup which mk430r has a PPT FMIC kit fs aswell.

take it FWIW but i know you probably won’t listen and you will go down your own path.
enjoy the headaches and a poor running car. i did.

word, i think this is the manifold off that red 03 gti that was fs for dirt in ohio… remember?

you bid on the tube manifold??? or that logger ATP knockoff?

The tube mani if a nice piece. You will need a down pipe made for it though, I think, I doubt that the turbo placement will line up with a standard ATP type down pipe. Although the ATP has 2 vbands (make sure the turbo you get is Vbanded on the turbine side) so it will adjust around quite a bit.

you got a nice deal on that setup. i think u should sell the wg and mani. separate and take the money from that and put it towards a pagparts kit.

your car didnt even have either one of them, so how can you whole heartedly recommend something you have no experience with?

the Kinetic kit sucks.

for a bolt on and worry free kit, the PAG kit is the best thing available, but what would i know?

yeah $250 is great for that. Manifold is well built it looks, and the WG is worth $150 used or so.

If he sold it seperate it might only make $50-100 on the deal… not really worth the time IMO… He is on the right track. Hes a young dude and doesnt have $2300 to blast into a parts kit. He is buying a bunch of my old stuff I wont be reusing on my build, AN lines, fittings, ECU… there isnt much to a turbo kit for these cars. The pag kit is great, and price and does have good parts. But when it boils down to it, money talks.
