MOAR PICS OF THE CAR

;D

hmmm i could take pics but its covered in salt right meow

meow what the hell is so damn funny

do i look like a cat to you boy :lol

You could have just cut off the bottom of the intake box and achieved the same thing, I think thats what Q is saying. I still have a stock paper filter and stock diverter, make over 200 hp with just the chip and side exhaust. I think we’ve had this discussion before but you obviously didn’t listen. Cold air intakes are a waste of money, especially on an intercooled turbo motor. The air is super heated and compressed through the turbo, thus raising the temp like 5 fold then it’s intercooled dropping the temp back down again. The 30-40 degree temp difference at the intake in the equates to nothing after it’s gone through the turbo, piping and intercooler. So it kinda doesn’t matter what temp the intake charge is ya know, on a n.a. car it will help a bit but not that much. More air in will help but being slightly cooler on the kelvin scale is minimal.

oh, i dont think we ever talked about this, but i could definitly feel an increase in power with the new intake on it,

CAI on turbo = placebo

you think it’s faster cause the box it came in said it would be.

take the intake off, put the cone on the MAF and report back.

but wouldnt i just be sucking in hot air from the engine bay? im a little confused id think that with the cone from the intake getting cold air into it, it would have a little more power

read 1stgen’s last post again…

If a CAI makes your FI car faster, your car has some problems.

oh well thats ghey, i wish i knew that before i spent the money on it, i could have invested it elsewhere, oh well lifes a bitch sometimes

Yea, your IC system should handle the cooling aspect.

glad you got stuff worked out.

I moved the BS to the battlefield. keyword MOVED so I dont get blamed for anything lol
