my idea of a tune is a pcm tune, that is all the car has. so the car responds better than a civic to a tune.

and for the record the boost was upped 4psi not 12

the car is tuned the exact same way every other car i have owned from mustangs to corvettes, you make a file upload via a tuner

there is no magic there, but the car responds better

n/a cars on average will pick up 5 to 15 from a tune
super charged cars usually 20-40
turbo cars 40-60

there is more in the programming than just boost, there is also torque management in the trans to help the launch, bumping the rev limiter, etc…

and to be honest, there is quite a bit left in the car too

so, if you know of a better way to define a tune, please let me know

those are some helos i put on, i had the stock rims powdercoated black, they are actually back on the car now. they were the stock tires though.

i put the f1’s back on the stock wheels and had some all season rsa’s put on the helos

next month when it starts staying cold i’ll run them all the time the f1’s are about $300 a pop and you don’t get a ton of miles out of them, so i’ll be saving the tires a bit this winter.

i liked the helo’s but with the deep dish, they look more like 18’s than 20’s

i sent the car out today to get the headlights and taillights done and have the car debadgesd

Starting price of 38k is pretty steep for a “taurus” imo… impressive though. I’d take the Mustang 1st, even at that price

it is a lot of car though, i sold my 600 rwhp mustang to buy one after driving it, i am really impressed with the car
