100 greatest hip hop songs on RIGHT NOW

PAY ATTENTION TO THE OLD GUY NOT YOUTUBE! :stuck_out_tongue:

SHUT UP STEVE, GET YOU PAPERWORK FROM OLD MAN RIVER!

my favorite song right now, TI is pretty dope in this song.

It’s in my hand

Haha, that’s the song that ultimately yielded the HYPHY plate on my elise. Well, actually it was that drop knock - GO DUM USA song…

Side note: the trackademics remix of TMW2G is better:

no speakers at school, ill check it out later.

i kinda like this song too. shawty lo is kind of annoying at times though, it sounds like he sings with no voice.

to each their own, but dont call hip hop “shit”

junk, pop rap is shit. if you buy it, or listen to it, you are just making soul-less, money hungry thieves, criminals and worthless oxygen-wasting people get rich and prolong the rift that TRUE artists such as common sense, de la soul, the roots, etc struggle through to convey a message.

real people in the industry for the love of the fans and for the platform to present ideas, concepts and struggle are left without a spotlight because people like lil wayne can rhyme weezy 56 times in 4 minutes.

fuck lil wayne. seriously.

lil wayne> you just for the fact that he makes money doing what you cant. haters will be haters.

he fucking makes money exploiting groups of people who dont know who the fuck they are, are too ignorant to understand the difference and are willing to blindly follow someone who just wants their money.

im glad i cant do what he does. thats fucking pathetic. just as you are for comparing me to someone who makes people dumber and lethargic because its “gangsta”.

read a book, not the source and see wtf hip hop artists are talking about and maybe youll understand why goons like lil wayne have no talent and try to make as much fluffy shit as they can to take your money:poke:

Makes sense, I know exactly what you mean. Most of the music I listen to isnt the “in your face” type. (Except a little dnb now and then) Which would explain why I am big on artists like Tribe and Talib.

There are some poppy rap songs that catch me once and a while, for their upbeat “dance to it” flow.

But I have to say, lil wayne is absolutely the worst ever. If people werent going around calling him a lyricist I prob wouldnt hate him as much, he would just blend into the rest of the terrible music I dont pay attention to.

speaking of “gangsta”, whats with the wanna be thug quote you have there?

oh and the fact of lil wayne taking my money, i can say i havent given him a cent of my money. yes that means i download his music, im not stupid enough to support him.

People say that?

Lol. I feel like i could write a lil wayne song…

And if you want an easy reason to hate on lil wayne, check out the video for “leather so soft”

He tries playing the guitar at the end and it’s an absolute abomination…

Here is just the end, i hosted it because it’s that’ fucking bad:

is there a list online? i dont wanna listen to all the songs just curious as to where they’re ranked.

hahahahaha

that’s from Dr. Dre who is an Original Gangsta. he’s allowed to make statements like that. im just quoting him to keep it real

ask and you shall receive…most of these people have probably never heard of and MOST of these and moreso, MOST of these are placed very poorly on the list…

i would say this list is just a general ordering, as Nas could have owned the top 5 to 10 spots, so too could Dr. Dre, or BIG, or 2PAC or BigPun or gangstarr or wu-tang
