car is featured in the august 2006 issue of Modified Magazine, should be hitting newstands in the next week or so, full write up with pictures and specs on the car

Cant wait to see some pics!

awesome … T88-38GK …biggest T88 trim …sweet …I want video dyno pull

Dammit, someone beat me to it.

Who said it was street driven? Anything can be street driven, but when a Civic beats you in the first 2 gears it will kinda look bad wont it??

I want to see a Dyno Graph with Rpm and HP and Torque.

^^ yeah it would kind of be nice to see what rpm its hitting 1000 at. Atleast the power doesn’t drop off immediately like some peaky setups. And it was done on an SR… :o

Hes pushing it to 9500RPM. :tonqe:

Yummy, Rev’s like a Honda, power like a Nissan.

Thats just insane, i didnt think an SR could possibly handle that much power, is this the first one to do so? Like 15 years after is was released? Or is this just for North America?

First in North America since it has been released i think. It has probably been done in Japan before. The real question is how long will this last.

carazy shiet!!!what does it do low 8’s when draging. Street driven haha 500whp by 5000rpm thats like 100whp increase per 1000rpm , thats some buck shiet :E

Thats kinda unlikely, this car seems to be making almost 130whp at idle god knows how much torque… no stock Honda is going to beat it threw 2 gears. Well, as long as he has the right tires on it anyway… With a 5 Speed I would guess he doesn’t even use the first 2 gears when driving it around.

A T88 on a 2 litre engine, have you thought about this???

vARIABLE HAVE U EVER DRIVEN A CAR WITH A TURBO … i want to know how u going to spool t88 in 3rd gear off the line haha ever heard of turbo Lag and i also want to know how u going to make 130whp at idle while u sucking and not blowing at all

omfg …turbo lag is the funnest dawg

I know that there are people on this message board that can answer that for you. I would but it seems when I start commenting on how to make power people start jumping all over me. Yes I have driven and built boosted cars before… I think you need a better understanding of how engines actually make power.

Not when you are using a 150 Shot of nitrous just to help spool the turbo. they inject the nitrous right before the turbo. I wonder what the graph would look like withouot the nitrous, i bet the turbo would not even be fully spooled by the redline in 5th gear.

All i ment by street driven is that this car competes in the street class (no tubbed out rear ends, DOT approved drag radials, and a stock dash)

:partyman:Imagine driving it to work every day hahaha
U d need a tanker of NOs following u around and refeeeling u every 5 red lights or stops so u can have ur 150 shot to get moving.

Dude in 3rd ur car will just stall out off the line so i dunno how u going to drive without 1-2 . And if u were making 130whp at idle what would ur gasoline consumption be 1 tank an hour? considering ur average streetdriven car such as 2l honda /nissan/mitsu/etc 4cyl only makes 130whp by 5-6k rpm in NA form and still eats a tank of gas every so often. . But to get t88 to blow u going to need some serious exhaust gasses

sounds like a tractor pull setup … injected right into the turbo …

I am saying from experience that lag is fun … its worth the wait .

Ever heard of a Properly sized Ball Bearing turbo???
