Reason i suggest 80E is your 4.8 wants to rev 7500… i shift my car at 5500-6000, recently its been 5500. I can get away with 2.73 gears and 26" tire. For the street it drives nice this way. But for you, you will need alot of gear to get that rpms up that high. cruising on that in a 3spd and 26" street tires is gonna suck ass

keep the 6spd or go 80E

or go powerglide and shift that fucker to 8000.
