Thanks,
I had a hell of a time finding a 12 point 14mm socket @ the shop to remove/install my Flywheel…
It came off without to much trouble (finished off a cheap-o 12pt socket thou). Install was easier then removing it cause I found a mint 12pt but that was after looking for it for hours
Erm, Ok. Thanks, I think.
LOL… yea you can borrow it if you want to drive to Kitchener…
12 point is a bitch thou…
what happened to gettng those 14mm new bolts etc instead of using the 12 point ones ?
Depending on how close Princess Auto is to too… go buy a brand new one so its in good shape… 12points are easy to wreck so having new ones are always nice
Well I have to have the socket to take my existing 12pt ones off first right?
no idea what kinda torque we’re talking about here, but i guess you already tried to take it off with a wrench?
^^^ oh yea…
I ended up using a wrench to remove few after the 1st socket woofed its cookies on me
I’m not even going to attempt with a wrench.
My KA were a bitch to remove with the shaft spinning (and I’m not gonna
boot leg it to hold it in place).
I have an impact gun so I may as well wait until I have a socket.
Oh, and if I happen to break a socket (unlikely) with the gun, I’ll give you
a full replacement.
wtf is woofed its cookies
I dunno but it sounds pretty homosexual.
Back to topic.
term i used while racing mx when my suzuki’s would blow bottom ends left and right cause they were pieces of shit
Ok, my dad has a 14mm 12pt socket at his work.
Once again he comes through.
eBay electric impact gun ftw. :run:
Teh locked.
