180sx brake replacement clarification

Hey,

I just need some clarification, I searched the forums for 180sx rotors and pads and I found a lot of upgrades for 240sx’s but not really any threads of owners with 180sx looking for stock replacements.

I looked through the forums and read that altima rotors will replace the stock 180sx ones and that maxima pads will work. Does that apply to stock 180sx’s or to 240sx’s doing a brake upgrade? Also I read this thread and now Im confused as he bought altima rotors and says it does not fit. o_O

Does anyone have part numbers for 180sx rotor and pad replacements I can ask nissan for? or at a part source?

What type of pads and rotors will fit on my 180sx? Just pads and rotors combination on my stock calipers etc.

please bare with me, im not the quickest learner.

Thanks a bunch.

Rotors = 1994/1995 Altima but I’m pretty sure it goes from 94-01? 4x114.3… 280mm x 22mm Rotor.

Rotor size is also the exact same for the Q45/J30 so anyone who uses Q45 for example, why they’d re-drill rotors is beyond me when they can just use the 180/Altima Rotor.

Anyhow… for Pads 1990 Maxima thou I’ve read the 94/95 Altima Caliper is also the same so those Pads may work as well.

'93-'97) 1st generation Nissan altima rotors. These are 280x22mm and have a 4x114 bolt pattern.

('89-'99) 3rd and 4th generation Nissan Maxima brake calipers

('89-'99) 3rd and 4th generation Nissan Maxima brake caliper mounting brackets

('89-'99) 3rd and 4th generation Nissan Maxima brake caliper mounting bracket hardware kit

('89-'99) 3rd and 4th generation Nissan Maxima brake pads

These parts all directly bolt onto the s13 with no major modifications needed.
