do you have to use the lower trim piece to install the 180sx kouki taillights
or can you use the stock piece with mods
i have a good price without it, or a horrible one with it
I belive you can use your stock peice, but be prepaired for some fabrication, and i doubt it will look like the factory peice.
Anyone can correct me if i’m wrong.

Inorder to use the Type-X tail lights you need the Type-X center piece too.
The factory 240sx centrepiece will fit, but it will look out of place. The Kouki 180sx centrepiece has a slope on it, while the 240sx centrepiece is flat so the lights will not appear flush.
He means the part under the reverse lights.
the kouki piece is more point edged, and the us-market 240 is more rounded. check it out yourself:
I think you will be fine, but it might have a bit of a hole, body shop wont charge too much, then again, you should check it out. So how much were the for those kouki’s?
