I’ve decided to test the waters with these wheels as there’s a set for sale that I’ve wanted for a long time.
This is a square setup of the most aggressive size and offset available for these wheels. I bought them about 2 years ago off a guy who bought them brand new and used them for a couple months, but then decided he wanted something else. When I got them, 2 of the wheels were slightly curb rashed (about 1.5-2" on each wheel), but otherwise perfect. Not bent, not cracked, not warped.
Over the years, their condition remained pretty much the same, however the last time I had the tires changed on them, the asshat putting them on managed to scratch the driver side front lip slightly with the tire machine. I didn’t notice until about a week later when I went to wash my car, and by that time, they used the excuse that “it had been too long since they worked on it, and anything could have happened since then”. I was planning on touching it up, but never really got around to it. There’s no actual damage to the rim at all, just a bit of missing paint on the lip (approx. 1").
I’m looking to get $1500 without tires, or $1950 with tires. I currently have a one-season-old set of Continental ExtremeContact DW Tuned tires on them, front’s are 245/35R18, rears are 285/35R18. They have about 2/3 of their tread left, and the fronts have very slight camber wear starting to show. I paid $1200 for this tire setup last year, so the extra $450 is quite a steal for these.
I posted pics of only one side of the tires front and back (driver side) because the other side has the exact same amount of tread left, just to not have to post another 4 pics.
