Motor/trans installed! Motor mounts were a pain to line up but its in.
Started building the twin turbo kit. Driver side went as expected. Pass side I had to cut out a huge piece of manifold to make it all fit. Learned a lot. Weld on that mani looks different because I ran a second pass on the mani side.

And finally what a pic of where it stands. As you can see I am went through the extra work on that pass mani so I can run my hot side pipes low. Very happy with the layout so far.

Thanks guys. This one is moving pretty quick so far. Need to figure out the clutch master/pedal setup, gauges, and some other misc stuff but overall I have a pretty decent idea of how I want to do most of the build. Still debating if I want to do a fuel cell or a sumped tank. Honestly leaning toward another fuel cell.
I really REALLY enjoy fab still. Learn from it each time. Hope to have the turbo kit done by the end of December including exhaust. I am just going to tie 3" downpipes into the flowmaster setup on it. Prob not the best for power but I can change it later if needed.
so you hate fab while doing it, but when the task is done you like it? LOL. sometimes I’m the opposite…have a blast making something then hate it when it’s done.
I like fab all the time unless what im working on is lame. I do not like working with crap materials though like cast alum. or stuff that is just in need of a ton of prep.
I wish I could learn and spend time doing this! All my cars would be turbo’d. Great stuff.

So this week was crazy or progress. Wed night I worked with @Spam16v and @pirite till 2am. Fri again 2ish with @ProgRocker and last night with @GV1390 @Minglor and later shawn till 2-3am. Needless to say I am SMOKED but most of this turbo kit is done and man am I happy with how it came out so far.
This week I plan to keep working on the turbo kit. Whats left on the kit…

Tie into the cat back
Id call that two weeks if I stay moving.
As far as what is DONE! Trans is mounted, manifolds to turbos fully fit and welded. downpipes fully fit and welded.

2.5" to T4. FML. No worry I have Mapp gas and a ball peen.
Time for some welds. All backpurged stainless TIG. Working on my penetration, edge control, and overall weld quality. Getting better. Long way to go. Overall happy!
