LOVE the car, hate the shifter, had one in my oval car, junk.
this price is a steal too.

hows the body?

must be the very base model Monte (note the lack of passangers side mirror)

Body along with everything else was done about 6-7 years ago. Not a show piece but definitely a steal. Basically a free car with the purchase of a motor. Was originally a 6 banger and apparently the buckets seats and center console wasn’t even an option on this year/model monte.

Also has new gas tank/lines and brake lines.

WOW now I see the 380tq lol. Guess my Reeding iz knot sew gun anymoor.
Free bump for ya and if this is around at the beginning of the month I might come see it.

would you take my blazer plus cash?

Sorry, no trades.

SOLD!!! Thanks for everyones inquiries.

GRRRRRRRRRRR I just did a search and was going to make ya an offer. What did ya wind up getting if I may ask?Either way seems like a steal

$2700. The oldman was tired of seeing it sit around, even though its been in storage for the past 3 years LOL. Some guy from Pittsburg saw it on craigslist.

Good…glad it sold! Now i can say how disgusting i think this body style is. I have an '81 Monte and the lines are sooooo much nicer IMO. What a difference a year makes.

^^^^ I agree. I was going to get it and rip all the goodies off it then put it back up for $1900 or somewhere around there.Figured I’d have about a grand plus some labor and have some nice parts.

Car was free so how can you really say no. My brother bought it 14 years ago at an auction for less than $1,000 I think. Beat the living shit out of the 229 v6 till that threw some rods. Then it was just in the way so the oldman got it for nothing. Not too many 80 montes running around so it was kinda cool. Especially when it would yank the front tire off the ground at the track
