1980 Mercedes 156,000 on Body 25,000 engine and trans. Sport Package V6 Super Charger

This is really fresh. Well done.

Is that a ford 3.0 v6, like the same engine I had in my 94 Taurus? If so, why did you go with that power plant? Ease of install? Just curious.

Either way, I like this thing.

came in here thinking this could possibly be cool, I was definitely surprised by how awesome it is

Has this been driving around? I thought I saw it on the 90 today.

Front: Well nuts are established in the lower section of the front bumper - they are in tabs that correspond to the OEM mounting for this fascia. From there, bolts are used to hold the upper section to the bumper. The sides are held in with a bolt in sleeve. Sides: Tabs have been created which are fixed to the rocker / sill. From underneath and the inside well nuts have been established inside the side skirts, bolts again are used to affix. To ensure the side skirt does not rock, each skirt has four “legs” that are formed to mate up and press against the car’s bottom. Rear: Two tabs are mounted under the rear bumper, again, well nuts are used to affix. There area also two side mounted bolt and sleeve attachments.

No dent under driver’s tail lamp.

A few small cracks can be seen.

Thanks for all of the comments.

I was on 90 the other day for a Test Drive - and it is set to be seen again Tuesday, 6/12/2012.

As for “Ease of install” you can do anything with a welder! (and my Father is pretty much unstoppable in the shop…) Ha!

SOLD. Thank you!
